The hotel is situated right on banks of the River Wye with iconic views of Ross from the garden. With direct access to the river walks you will find a proliferation of wildlife and on most days there are fishermen along the banks and every variety of river birds bobbing along the water.
As Autumn is upon us our garden and the surrounding countryside is changing colour. In the morning enjoy our sumptuous breakfast in the breakfast room. The views from the terrace promise to be flooded with beautiful sunrises, autumn mists hanging over the river and greens, reds and oranges as we move seasons.
The Bridge House has a well stocked Honesty Bar where you can select a drink from a range of wines, spirits and beers and enjoy a drink in the guests lounge or garden. All you need to do is make a note on the bar ledger and we will add it to your bill. We also offer a limited bar menu for those who simply want to absorb the peaceful view or put their feet up in front of the log fire.
We are a dog friendly hotel, as with so many lovely walks and places to visit, it would be a shame to leave your four legged friend at home.
There are many activities to enjoy in the area, in particular, canoeing and fishing. If you want us to book these for you in advance we are happy to arrange a day trip on a canoe or a ticket to fish on the Wye.
